This section includes items from the general catalogue but also some works from the Ourtext archive that were created specifically for use in string classes.

These studies are adaptations from a course written for the Beginning Violin and Viola classes at the City Literary Institute, London. The course has been used with successful outcomes for several years but is still under revision and not yet published.

Each piece gives the student a task that allows concentration on a single technical skill. The study is built into a piece of specially-composed music, played on a CD, so that from the start the learning experience is akin to playing chamber or orchestral music.

Here the accompaniment has been rearranged as a piano part.
